I don't usually just on old recipe books, even handwritten ones, but I couldn't resist these, one titled "Cooking recipes" and the other "Cooking receipts," the latter stamped on the back by the maker of both: Alice Redfield Phillips (who I've found record for, 1908 1994) of Montpelier, VT. Chock full, and I believe written much earlier in her life than
