This rod pre-dated my supplying ferrule plugs so I have supplied a set that I've recently made

The reel is still in excellent condition although it does have some minor rim rash but no chips or dings

Nice medium fast dry fly action

Modified half wells grip with light soiling

A highly perforated reel in the style of Julius Vom Hofe. Left or right hand retrieve. 3 4" spool width. Equal spring tension with a fairly light drag both directions which will protect light tippets. A very attractive reel and one of the finest Ballan reels I've ever come across.
