it has an excellent original Payne all-metal reel seat with early die stamp and soldered rolled ring

The Hardy logo is embossed on the front of the strap

The cork and reel seat remain in very good condition and would not need to be replaced

Orvis CFO III Fly Reel - screwback 9'2" it has an excellent originalFor sale here is an early 70's Orvis CFO III fly reel the screwback model with three holes in the reel foot. This reel has definitely seen much time on the stream. Mechanically it feels as solid as the day it left the factory. There's a slight dent on one part of the frame, but it doesn't affect the winding whatsoever. Nice fishing reel and a rarely seen early model.
