The initials "RR" (Robert Richardson) are stamped on the inside of the frame, and he worked at Hardy from approximately 1938 1950. The reel's leaded patina has been cleaned removed leaving it bright, though the underlying metal is in great shape with no pitting or corrosion which sometimes happens as a result. Excellent
